(1) Will 1.3.0 be able to download rather than updated only via the FoG client?
(2) If I was to reinstall can I install FoG --> RoR --> SoS --> ImF OR do I need to install 1.2.8 patch also? i.e. FoG --> RoR --> SoS --> 1.2.8 --> ImF.
Thanks,
Stefan.

This might cause problems for people that own the game allready who want to install a copy of the game onto an additional computer not connected to the net.
Perhaps the patched post 1.28 could be made available for seperat download as well by yourselves on Matrix.
PS thanks very much For Imortal Fire its a realy great add on. Only problem is it makes me want the other opgrades even more.

I see this as fine now but given there are what, thirteen book in FoG, when we get to a larger number of army packs then re-installation will require significant download times as patches are applied. At very least would it be possible for each army pack to have a patch information such that FoG is updated to the patch level it should be at, at the time of the release of the army pack? Does that make sense?
What I mean is when I re-install FoG in say a years time with all the released army packs (which I will be buying, bugs aside this game is the most fun you can have with your trousers on - actually strike that, I've played this game without wearing trousers) I don't want to have to download 10 GB of patches.
Cheers,
S.

Just as an aside to this point. I don't have any expansions other than RoR, please tell me that I don't have to download all the expansions every time one is released or upgraded. It seems that this would be very inefficient for the end user and consume sgnificant bandwidth and disk space.stefanjhill wrote:I see this as fine now but given there are what, thirteen book in FoG, when we get to a larger number of army packs then re-installation will require significant download times as patches are applied.
