Seriously, the sculptor who made the kofun/Nara Japanese is going to make the Koreans sometime in 2010

Which Koreans are you going to do? Koryo looks promising and I can't find another supplier.

Hoplites in bronze panolpy and neglected niches are both interesting topics but outside the scope of the original query - viable open comp chariot armies (that are non korean as they are already in the pipeline).

If you are after very early hoplites the mirliton hoplites in the etruscan range are very good.

Understood that you don't like the models Anthony but they've been in the market and my guess is that lots of people who were inclined to build an army invested in them with the book came out.

I also wonder how much the Libyan Egyptians actually looked like the Libyan tribesmen, particularly the MW who were in military settlements. Hmm, might be a question for ancmed. Not now though, a chariot army will have to wait for 2010, I think. I have enough of a backlog as it is! Arabs, Anglo-Danes, 14th C Swiss, Crecy period English, all more or less complete and just awaiting attention to get them up for sale.

And Chinese Communists for the Korean War, even! They've been done for months, poor lads, just waiting to cross over the border ....

I would be happy to add them to my Quality Casting and QRF ChiComs.

Regarding the chariot armies - when are the Lost Scrolls due out? You might want to see that and see how Dragons evolves before making a decision.
