The second round of the tournament ended in the same way: a crushing defeat for the Normans. More heavily armed than the Bretons, they had the misfortune to get stuck in a stream that made their lances more cumbersome than murderous. The proud Celtic, meanwhile, found their light spears very practical in this environment.
