A special T-34/85. This one added multiple mesh armor and armor plate to get a better survivalship against the panzerfaust. Served in the Red Army on their way to Berlin.

This was most likely not a factory-fitted solution but was welded on in field workshops, given that, in urban environments, the ‘witch’s sucker’ could ambush a tank from any angle or through a shattered roof! Perhaps if the war had lasted longer, a factory-fitted version of the grilles would have appeared – just as they now weld grilles directly onto the tank turret at the factory to protect against drones!

Tank crews in many countries resorted to such modifications; it probably served as a psychological comfort. For example, General Patton forbade his tank crews from weighing down their Shermans with sandbags and camouflaging them, but the higher-ups were far away, and it was the ordinary tank crewman who would end up in the line of fire. So they resorted to improvisation and self-consolation!

I haven't made artillery pieces for a long time. Today I get this ready: Soviet 305mm M1915 super heavy howitzer. Some of them used in the battles of Koningsberg in 1945.

Yugoslavian M.28 tank. The Royal Yugoslavian army ordered 11 Renault-Kégresse tanks and named them as M.28. These are improved FT-17 tanks with a brand new Renault-Kégresse suspension and new robber tracks.
