In summer 1943, the Romanian IAR factory converted one of their IAR-81C fighter (Serial number 326), with a DB605 engine. The performance was much improved. However, German cannot support sufficient number of the DB605 engine and this most powerful IAR-81 was never went into mass production phase.

Great, thank you very much.
I will add this variant in the coming update!

Interesting.
Would it be possible to also have the normal BT-7A, with the 76mm KT howitzer instead of the F32 experiment?
With the 76mm KT the BT-7A could have two graphics, to switch between tank and arty mode.
Eg providing close fire suppoert, like those short barrel StuG III.

longer, alternative "PG" like Campaign new version 0.34 from 2011.08.02 (another bugfix & now in zip format)

Wild, how many tank experiments were made in those few years.

Ah, thank you, I often forget to check there for non german units.

And thank you also for the captured Panther with the mixed paint.
It will be an interesting upgrade option for the Soviet Corps captured Tiger.

Only the turret of the panthers were painted in the "Soviet Green", while the other part were still in the DunkelGelb color.

There is nothing surprising about such experiments; for centuries, armies have been seizing captured equipment and attempting to adapt it to the needs of their own forces! All the more so because, at times, other nations’ developments showed the way forward for their own science and highlighted where a line of research had reached a dead end. Rich countries could afford to spend on such experiments; the rest either copied them or made do with whatever they could get their hands on. Nowadays, this is called commercial espionage.
