Any option ideas or requests?
Suggestions are always welcome.

I really love this language pack with localisation into different languages! When will we be able to play it?

Will there be a button in the options to disable censorship!? Because I want authenticity and realism, not waffle towels as banners and flags )

No, but flags are modable and easily replaced by the one(s) you want. Will there be a button in the options to disable censorship!? Because I want authenticity and realism, not waffle towels as banners and flags )

That’s brilliant news, as there really shouldn’t be any censorship in historical games and films ) Even if they do contain elements of alternative fantasy )nikivdd wrote: Wed Sep 02, 2026 7:42 pmNo, but flags are modable and easily replaced by the one(s) you want. Will there be a button in the options to disable censorship!? As you mentioned earlier that there won’t be any battle animations in the circles, I’d like to ask whether there will at least be opening sequences and video clips?

A video of Classic General (that is how i call this project), release candidate one test.
UI panel behavior, unit behavior, AI tactical version 2 behavior, AI prestige dumps and AI unit purchases.
.
.The AI is definitely working as an opponent rather than just moving units around, but I’d describe its current level as competent local defender, not yet a really dangerous operational opponent.
The good part is that it does put pressure. By Turn 10 several German units are down to strengths like 7, 6, 5 and even 2, so the Polish AI is inflicting meaningful attrition. It also appears reluctant to throw every unit forward blindly. Some Polish formations remain tied to important areas/objectives, and that matters: i finished with a Minor Victory rather than simply steamrolling the scenario. That suggests the objective-holding behavior is doing useful work.
In the meantime traits were introduced (Overrun, Para, Airlift, BridgeEngineer, IgnoreEntenchment).
A new UI button (air transport)
An intro video (for Bond)
The original Panzer General equipment roster has been expanded with the available stock icons (about 150 units).
.
I need to do a little more polishing before releasing a beta version including a last pass of the UI and AI behavior. I had not much time testing as most of my time went into the construction.
