Idea of the mod is to change the gameplay of Modern Conflicts Mod, so that it resembles vanilla Panzer Corps. Initially, it started as a personal makeshift submod (because I found NATO Campaign too boring without observing my KillTeam), but it has grown into a fully playable enhancement pack.

• Ukraine`s Big Units images were altered to match condition and appearance of Armed Forces of Ukraine by 2017 year
• NATO Campaign recieved new faction - Joint Forces Operation Command (JF Units). This game mechanic functions similarly to the SE Unit system in the vanilla game
• Fictional Campaign recieved SE units
• JF units appear to show more initiative than their regular counterparts, due to the fact that they are composed of volunteers. Other characteristics were not changed

Back to Panzer Corps V2

Changes:

• Added SE Units for Germany (Deutsche Afrika Corps)
• Added SE Units for Italy
• Added award system for Italy
• JF Faction now overrides unused country slot ID=50 (earlier it was Argentina ID=29). Previous saves in NATO Campaign won`t work (Sorry, I didn`t noticed unused factions earlier)
• New Background Image

I’d also recommend posting this topic in the forum's "scenario design" section, as it’s much more active. If it weren't for Bondjamesbond (who linked to this thread in my own topic), I wouldn't have even seen it!

Also, I’m creating custom campaigns for *Modern Conflicts*, and I’ve been recently asked to include awards for armies that don't have them in the mod. Could I borrow your work about it?

I found campaigns a bit empty and pointless for loading 20 times to save private Ryan. So, this submod adds rewards for nations that doesn`t have it (like France. Surprisingly...) and Images of Heroes:

Now new faction - Joint Forces Operation Command. It is available from the beginning, and you can purchase JF Operators - Common Ukrainian Infantry with +1 Initiative:

However, throughout the campaign you will be able to gain up to 3 bonus units. So generaly, this is just SE Units mechanic: .

From what I can see, these changes apply to all game modes.
It just takes a bit of time to unlock heroes and medals. You're much more likely to have them appear during a campaign than in a single scenario.

Incidentally, most of the additions specifically concern NATO countries (some of which had been somewhat overlooked and lacked medals in the mod). I believe special units are only unlocked in that one.

It would be nice to add a navy to the microstates and small countries. For example, the Georgians had ships in that conflict—though Russian special forces did destroy them. But maybe a player could save them or even try to fend off the enemy with their own little ships for a while.
