Due to other commitments Tom has asked me to run this round.
Just for clarification here are the full details of the 3rd Round: -
Venue: Wolvercote Village Hall, Wolvercote, Oxford
Theme: Peasants Revolts and their Overlords – 1514 to 1543 (Please specify your uprising).
Armies allowed: -
Peasants Wars
German States (South or East German Options) 1514 – 1516 and 1524 – 1526 may have German States allies
Maximilian Imperial (No Italian Options) 1514 - 1516
Hungarian 1514
Vasa Swedish 1542 – 1543
Earlier Danish 1534 - 1536
Points: 650 points plus the value of the cheapest base cost i.e. if the cheapest points for a base are 5 points then the player can have up to 655 points in their army.
Format: Singles competition - 3 x 2½ hour rounds – Maximum 12 places
Table size: 5' x 3'
Game specific Rules:
1. Flank zones will be 10 mu and rear zones will be 4 mu
2. Deployment depth will be 10 mu for battle troops and 15 mu for light troops
3. Any heavy artillery used must be the first battlegroup(s) deployed immediately followed by any medium artillery used.
4. Cavalry that passes a CMT can either move 2 mu and turn 180o or turn 180o and move 2mu and turn back 180o.
5. Foot, other than light foot must pass a CMT to enter or each time they wish to move within the flank zones.
6. The number of extra pieces of terrain that can be deployed after the compulsory piece is reduced a maximum of 3

Time table:
1st Round 9:00 to 11:30
30 minute break
2nd Round 12:00 to 14:30
30 minute break
3rd Round 15:00 to 17:30 (we only have the hall until 18:00)
Fees:
As this is a regular Oxford Club Sunday meeting (hence limited spaces) the price for the day is £10 payable on the day (this includes tea, coffee etc. and to fund prizes).
