The image is the spell book color code for the original game.
Sorry if I confused anyone.

Does anyone know what determines the color of spell book you get as loot? It's obviously changed from the old game since I had one Temple that would only give Chaos books as loot.

Did you get rid of the spells prizes when you banish and enemy wizard? If so, why? That was a very nice feature.

Also, is the game score still computed like before with the Fame/population/number of spells/game duration? If not, what is the score currently based on?

The more I think about it, the more I like this change. Kudos again to the developers--you kept the best parts of the original and made changes like this that are small but really impact gameplay. Thank you!

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks! I had noticed that her troops didn't disappear. Cool new aspect of the game. Now I have to hunt down and kill all of their remaining troops after I vanquish their cities!

I defeated Sharee from her last city, but instead of saying she was defeated, I got the "enemy has been banished" message and it showed her as casting the Spell of Return. Then 2 turns later it tells me she has been defeated by me.
Anyone know why the delay?

Can anyone tell me whether the possible wizard skills you get award at lairs are broken, or just artificially limited? Don't know if you just mis-typed, or really don't know how old the original game is.
It's been around a lot longer than 2009. Look closely and you'll see 1994 on the back of the box.
