List of thing to consider?
As requested here is the list I wrote of things for consideration..... 1) If the reference sheet is to be updated, putting the full terrain setup procedure on it would be a big help. 2) Please please remove any reference to rounding from the rules. 1 per 2 or 1 per 3 is more than adequate. 3) I am n...

I would like to express many thanks to Richard, JD, Simon and Terry for all the help and courtesy extended this weekend to us. Since I can't quite master quoting, I haven't. One thought on the large v small BG issue. Say you have 3BGs of 4 elements fighting one of 12 (identical troops). Unless I have misunderstood it, the trigger of having lost a combat will apply 3 times to the larger BG (1 opportunity per smallBG it is fa...

I agree wholeheartedly with the 3/4/5 game threshold. I felt I took a step backwards in my second game, but that was partly due to just wanting to try some things out to see how the mechanics worked. Considering in now I think I have a much better grasp of things, and the game does seem to be coming...

First Impressions as this was my first game
Primary thing to say is that it was enormous fun to play, and the game has the right feel for a casual wargame. It seems to feel like a game, and feel like a real battle is taking place. For me this is something that was very much becoming lost in DBM, so as a wargamer of ages past it has re-enthuse...
