Hmm, very curious. Only other thing I can think to try would be to make the file changes manually (not using GME). A few questions: Is the game crashing or you're just not seeing the file changes show up in your game? Is the game still using the old eq file? And are you starting a new scenario with your updated file?

This is definitely a real pity for game logic / realism. That's true but honestly I had never noticed it before. Usually I have, at most, 2-3 artillery units in a support position. So I guess it makes sense to not spend a lot of time trying to code any kind of realism into those situations. But now...

As far as I remember it is a vanilla game feature. If an over strength unit gets an upgrade, it loses the extra strength points over 10. Place the desired unit on the map. Then shift + left-click on the unit; that brings up a new window. Select "Edit Trigger", then "Add Random Condition" and finally enter "80" under Probability.

I thought I might be misunderstanding :lol:

Look for this file:
Slitherine/Panzer Corps/Expansion/pc/Video/intro

All you need to do is re-name the "intro" file. That should make the game skip over the intro video. At least, it does for me.

If you mean manually bypassing the video, I usually just left-click. Pressing "ENTER" or "ESC" will also work.
