// NAME
scenario_name = Kelja Revisited - The God of War

// DESCRIPTION
scenario_descr = The Soviet attack over the Suvanto River was aimed at three sectors: Kelja, Volossula, and Patoniemi. Of those three sectors the Russians managed to hold a bridgehead only at Kelja. Other attacks were repulsed by a combination of Finnish counterattacks and concentrated artillery power. ||On 25 and 26 December, the Finnish 29th and 30th Regiments (10th Infantry Division) launched repeated attacks to destroy the dangerous bridgehead. All attacks were defeated with the help of Russian artillery. ||Now, on 27 December, Finnish command is to make another attempt to destroy the Russian pocket. The newly arrived 6th Separate Battalion of Major O. Saarinen, attached to the 10th Infantry Division, is deployed in the woods neighboring the Russian lines. His orders are to attack and destroy the Russian forces in the area. ||An anti-tank detachment is to support their attack with a flank movement around the Russian right wing. The success of the attack depends on coordination with Finnish artillery. ||Most of the artillery power of the Russian 4th Division is in the area, reacting quickly to any Finnish counterattack. The RKKA refers to its artillery as the 'God of War.' Once again the 'God of War' may have the last word.

// BRIEFINGS
briefing_2_0 = Despite our initial heroics, our forces were evicted from Kekinniemi, Haaparainen, and Kelja. This is the only sector where the enemy has been able to establish a bridgehead on the north bank of the Suvanto River. They must be pushed back across the river.||Majuri (Major) Saarinen? Ah, there you are. At ease.
briefing_2_1 = Major, your battalion has been chosen to spearhead our attack. Your objectives are to recapture what is left of our fuel depots and supply dumps south of Kelja. Once this area has been secured, portions of our 10th Division will follow on, heading for Kelja and Kekinniemi.
briefing_2_2 = It's only been a couple of days so the enemy has not been able to build any bunkers or other improvements. Still, they have been able to set up a formidable line of defence along the edge of the woods: machine gun nests, mines, and razor wire.
briefing_2_3 = To handle the mines, several engineer units have been called in and placed under your command. Half of them are with the anti-tank detachment to your south. Speaking of the AT guns, they are worthless against Soviet infantry. Look for opportunities to employ them against any enemy tanks that you may encounter. Any questions?
briefing_2_4 = Yes, sir. These foreign volunteer units, they are under my command and will obey my orders? Joo? Erittäin hyvä, herra. (Yes? Very good, sir.)||The 6th Separate Battalion will not let you down, sir. We will take those objectives or die trying.

// OBJECTIVES
objective_2_0 = Capture all 4 objectives
objective_2_0_award = #
objective_2_1 = Rebuild fuel depots
objective_2_1_award = Maneuver a construction group to the site of a fuel depot in order to rebuild it. The hex must be cleared of units. Both fuel depots need to be rebuilt.
objective_2_2 = Restock supply dumps
objective_2_2_award = Maneuver a cargo truck to the site of a supply dump in order to restock it. The hex must be cleared of units. Both supply dumps need to be restocked.
objective2_2_0 = Remove all minefields
objective2_2_0_award = The mines must be removed so as to not impede the westward advance of the rest of our division. We are not familiar with these Soviet mines, so take extreme care when removing them.
objective2_2_1 = Destroy at least 16 MG nests
objective2_2_1_award = They are like mushrooms! Thin them out so that we don't leave a large number of enemy soldiers in our rear . . . and waiting to slay our compatriots who will be following us soon.
objective_3_0 = 1 objective
objective_3_1 = Not enough fuel depots
objective_3_2 = Not enough supply dumps

// TRIGGER TEXTS
event_trigger_7_35_title = Foreign Volunteers
event_trigger_7_35_text = We are joined by volunteers from Sweden, and there are even groups from Norway and Hungary! Jointly, they are being called Osasto Sisu (Unit Determination/Guts). They are yours to command, Major Saarinen. Be sure to deploy them all immediately.
event_trigger_8_36_title = He Flies For Finland
event_trigger_8_36_text = Flying a Swedish Gloster Gladiator is volunteer Count Carl Gustaf von Rosen, a nephew of Carin Göring, wife of Hermann Göring. Veteran of the Italo-Ethiopian War, he will serve in the Ethiopian Air Force after WW2 and take part in the Congo Crisis and Biafran War in the 1960s. He is shown receiving a medal from Swedish Gen. Bengt Nordenskiöld.
event_trigger_9_83_title = New Objectives
event_trigger_9_83_text = Men, having taken our second primary objective, you may be thinking that we are halfway to our goal. Not anymore. HQ wants us to ensure the safety of construction crews and cargo trucks to rebuild our fuel depots and restock our suppy dumps. Not one of these units can be lost. No doubt the enemy will become aware of our intentions.
event_trigger_0_99_title = Artillery Arriving
event_trigger_0_99_text = Artillery units are arriving on the road from Volossula.

// OUTCOME EVENTS
outcome_2_0_title = Major Defeat
outcome_2_0_text = Major, you are clearly not headed for glory in this army. You may not even be a major for much longer. Under your 'leadership,' your battalion failed miserably. You are relieved of command.
outcome_2_1_title = Minor Defeat
outcome_2_1_text = Major, I remind you, clearing mines and killing MG nests were NOT your primary objectives! You were supposed to recapture and restore our fuel depots and supply dumps. Disgraceful! Out. Out!
outcome_2_2_title = Draw
outcome_2_2_text = Definitely an inconclusive result. Not achieving all of our primary objectives means our main attack toward Kelja and Kekinniemi will be delayed. They will not ask our battalion to take the lead again.
outcome_2_3_title = Minor Victory
outcome_2_3_text = Not everything appears in the plus column, but enough to call this a victory. Our primary objectives were achieved and the division attack may now proceed, although with extra hazards in their way.
outcome_2_4_title = Major Victory
outcome_2_4_text = I ask you, what better result could there have been than this? All primary objectives achieved and the way is cleared for the rest of the division to attack. It's the equivalent of a red carpet for them!
