scenario_descr = After having broken through the Finnish defenses at Linnasalmi, the 81st Regiment of the Soviet 163rd Rifle Division continues its drive towards Suomussalmi. On the night of 7 December 1939, the newly formed Finnish 1./Er.P 15 (reinforcement battalion) is deployed to the Kylänmäki junction. It then moves forward to Karvola to conduct a delaying action against the RKKA's 81/163 approaching from the direction of Palovaara. Despite the new unit designation, these are veteran troops; too valuable to be wasted. They will fight to the last man, but hopefully it will not come to that. Meanwhile, the rest of Finnish forces in the area must find a way to stop the Red Army in its tracks.
